Article 5. Imposing Charges
7-501 Imposing charges for certain fire calls made by the fire department.
(a)The Florence Volunteer Fire Department answers fire calls both in the city limits and in certain adjoining rural areas. Charges maybe imposed on each fire call made to non-residents and to those persons who do not own any real estate in the area served -by the Florence Volunteer Fire Department. The charge shall be a minimum charge of ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) for the first hour and FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00) for each additional hour or part thereof.
(b)Imposing charges for the Florence Volunteer Fire Department and the Florence Rescue truck will be set by resolution.
