No unauthorized person shall maliciously, willfully or negligently break, damage, destroy, uncover, deface or tamper with any structure, appurtenance or equipment which is a part of the municipal sewage works. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall upon conviction thereof, be fined in any sum not exceeding $100.00.
